Israel's Democracy and its Discontents Dr. Dana Blander is a visiting lecturer in the Political Science Department at Tufts University. She received her Ph.D. in 2008 from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where she also earned an M.A. in both Political Science and Clinical Psychology. Her thesis, "Ambivalence as a Challenge to the Political Order," won the Alex Berger Prize for academic excellence. Her expertise on Israeli Democracy comes from her experience as a researcher while working at the Israel Democracy Institute. She is the editor of an on-line Magazine ("Parliament") and the co-author of the book Israel Political System (in press). Lunch will be served.
